Na 17 jaar vol geweldige ervaringen, headline club shows in Nederland en België, festivals als Pinkpop, Lowlands, Dynamo, Pukkelpop, Groezrock, Bizar en ook zo’n beetje alle andere, een platendeal bij ’s werelds grootste PunkRock label Epitaph Records (Their Greatest Adventures 1996, One For The Money 1998 Sound City Burning 2001), support en headline Tours door Europa en UK met the Offspring, Bad Religion, Ten Foot Pole, RKL, Me First And The Gimmie Gimmies en vele andere geweldige punkrock bands sluiten we het hoofdstuk met al deze herinneringen dit jaar nu echt af. Dennis Doesburg, Jorg Smeets, Skanne van Selst en Helmer Lathouwers stonden in 2005 even op het randje van de afgrond toen
voormalig zanger Jasper Vergeer de band verliet. Stoppen was géén optie, dus gingen ze op zoek en vonden een nieuwe zanger, Erik van Haaren, waarmee de laatste self-titled release “the Undeclinables” in 2008 werd uitgebracht. “We hebben zo’n beetje de helft van ons leven met elkaar doorgebracht, lief en leed gedeeld, gelachen en ruzie gemaakt, en zijn opgegroeid met elkaar tot “redelijk” volwassen mannen die samen te gekke muziek maken en hebben gemaakt. Met al
deze dingen in ons achterhoofd lijkt dit hèt beste moment om er mee op te houden.
Het is mooi geweest en tijd voor nieuwe dingen, waar het ons ook zal gaan brengen!”

Undeclinable Ambuscade 1992-2000, Undeclinable 2001-2005, the Undeclinables 2006 - 2009
After 17 years full of great experiences, headline club shows in Holland and Belgium, festivals like Pinkpop, Lowlands, Dynamo, Pukkelpop, Groezrock, Bizarr and lots more, a record deal with worlds biggest PunkRock label Epitaph Records (Their Greatest Adventures 1996, One For The Money 1998 Sound City Burning 2001), support and headline Tours through out Europe and the UK with The Offspring, Bad Religion, Ten Foot Pole, RKL, Me First And The Gimmie Gimmies and many more great punkrock bands we decided to close this chapter with all it’s memories this year. Dennis Doesburg, Jorg Smeets, Skanne van Selst and Helmer Lathouwers where on the edge of breaking up when former singer Jasper Vergeer left the band in 2005. Quiting was Not an option so they searched and found a new singer, Erik van Haaren, with whom they recorded the last self-titled album “the Undeclinables” which was released in 2008. “We’ve almost spend half of our lives together. Loved, Suffered, Laughed, Fought and grew up to become “reasonable” adult men who made kick ass music together. With all of these things in the back of our heads this seems like The best moment to call it quits. It’s been great but now it’s time for something new, wherever it may take us!”
